Even though it is only the 10th of February, we are in the thick of harvest. It was an exceptionally dry season in the Swartland, so things were quick to ripen. It kicked off with the picking for the 2026 PhD Pet Nat which would be a co-fermentation of Chenin, Grenache blanc and Verdelho. Palomino came in next with beautiful yellow tannins in the skins!
